Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour, safety, and responsibility required of all members, guests, and service users of MDG Fitness. It applies at all times, including during staffed and unstaffed hours.

1. Respect & Behaviour
  • Treat all members, staff, and visitors with respect at all times.
  • Aggressive, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
2. Cleanliness & Hygiene
  • Wipe down all equipment after use.
  • Wear clean gym attire and indoor footwear
3. Equipment Use & Re-Storage
  • Equipment must be used correctly and returned to labelled storage.
  • Walkways, exits, and emergency routes must remain clear.
4. Safety & Health
  • Train within personal limits and follow staff instructions.
  • Do not train under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
5. Access & Membership
  • Members must check in using approved access systems.
  • Tailgating or sharing access is prohibited
6. Filming & Photography
  • No filming of others without consent.
  • Must comply with the Privacy Policy and GDPR.
7. Minors
  • General access is 16+ only.
  • Under-18s require written parental consent for supervised programmes.
  • No minors permitted during unstaffed hours.
8. Consequences
  • Breaches may result in warnings, suspension, termination, or removal from the facility, inline with the Terms & Conditions.
9. Unstaffed Hours
  • Adult members only.
  • No spotting, max lifts, or high-risk movements.
  • Members train entirely at their own risk.
  • Emergency: Call 999/112 and exit safely.

By accessing MDG Fitness, members confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Code of Conduct.
